ORGAMIKA · L-Lysine

The amino acid your body cannot make. 500mg, pure.

Lysine builds collagen, holds calcium in bone and feeds the keratin in your hair. Your body makes none of it. Ours is one ingredient at full dose — no fillers, no gelatin, no citric acid.

Benefits of daily use.

Collagen, built.

Collagen needs lysine to cross-link. Skin, tendon, cartilage and the protein scaffold of bone all depend on it.

Bones that hold calcium.

Lysine raises calcium absorption in the gut and cuts what you lose in urine. More in, less out.

Joints that move.

Cartilage is mostly collagen. Collagen is built on lysine. That is the whole chain.

Hair with structure.

Hair is keratin, and lysine is one of the amino acids keratin runs short of first. Give it lysine.

Most lysine is a low dose in a gelatin shell.
Ours is 500mg in a plant capsule.

Lysine only works at dose. 500mg of L-lysine hydrochloride per capsule, nothing else inside the shell, and 270 of them in the bottle — one or two a day for months, not weeks.

Why lysine, and why this much.

Nine amino acids have to arrive in food. Lysine is the one an ordinary diet is shortest of, and the one the body spends first. Four things worth knowing before you take it.

01

Essential means essential

Nine you cannot make

Nine amino acids your body cannot make. Lysine is the one cereal grains are poorest in, so bread, rice and pasta diets run short first.

02

Who runs low

Plant-based · training · over fifty

Vegans and vegetarians. Anyone training hard: lysine is used for muscle repair and to make carnitine. Anyone over fifty, when collagen turnover slows. Anyone recovering.

03

Why the dose matters

500mg per capsule

The body spends lysine on protein first. Only what is left over goes to collagen and carnitine. 500mg a capsule puts you on the right side of that line.

04

What is not in it

Vegan capsule · nothing else

No gelatin. No citric acid. No fillers. The panel lists one other ingredient and it is the vegan capsule. Non-GMO and gluten-free are printed on the label alongside it.

Strength has a building block.

500mg of it in every capsule.

Not all lysine is equal.

Most lysine on the shelf is a smaller dose in a gelatin shell, or one line inside a multi-amino blend. Here is how this one compares, line by line.

† Daily Value (DV) not established. One active and one other ingredient — that is the whole panel. Made with > 99.5% ultra-pure L-Lysine HCL. Vegan · Non-GMO · Gluten-free. The label prints no dosage directions; the serving size is one capsule. Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, lactating, taking medication or have a medical condition. Store in a cool, dry place.

A simple daily ritual.

01

Morning, one capsule

One capsule with water, before food. That is 500mg — the serving size printed on the panel.

02

Evening, if you need it

A second one if you are plant-based, training hard or rebuilding. The label prints no frequency, so a second capsule is your call, or your doctor's.

03

Give it eight weeks

Collagen turns over slowly and hair grows about a centimetre a month. This is a store to keep full, not a switch to flip.

The collagen stack.

Lysine is one half of collagen cross-linking and vitamin C is the other. Magnesium sits in bone alongside the calcium, and zinc goes to hair and skin.

Questions, answered.

Because it is one of the nine essential amino acids — your cells have no pathway that builds it, so every molecule of lysine in you arrived in something you ate. Cereal grains are the poorest source of it, which is why a diet built on bread, rice and pasta runs short of lysine before it runs short of much else.
The panel prints one figure: the serving size is one capsule, and that capsule is 500mg. It prints no frequency, so anything beyond that is guidance rather than label copy — most people take one a day, and a second if they are plant-based, training hard or rebuilding. Take it with water. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or have a medical condition, the label asks you to check with your doctor first.
Yes. The panel lists one other ingredient — the vegan capsule — and the label carries the vegan mark next to gluten-free and non-GMO. There is no gelatin in it.
Yes, and vitamin C is the more useful of the two to pair it with: collagen cross-linking requires vitamin C. Lysine and vitamin C work on the same step from opposite sides, which is why Immune-C Plant Power sits beside this one in the stack.
It depends which tissue you are asking about. Collagen turns over across weeks. Hair grows roughly a centimetre a month, so that answer is measured in months. Bone is slower again. None of it is a same-day effect.
Lysine is widely used for that and the research is mixed. This page is about bones, joints and hair. Ask your pharmacist about the rest.
