ORGAMIKA · Spirulina Powder

The all-in-one superfood that purifies and removes waste from the system.

3g of raw spirulina in every teaspoon. One ingredient, raw-extracted so the blue-green pigments survive intact. The most nutrient-dense whole food, all in one convenient scoop.

Benefits of daily use.

Fuel from the very bottom

Spirulina is a complete food, not an extract of one. Protein, minerals and pigment arrive together the way the organism made them — which is why it steadies energy rather than spiking it.

The pigment that does the work

Phycocyanin is the blue in blue-green algae, and it is the reason spirulina gets studied at all. Raw extraction is what keeps it. Heat destroys it.

A binder, not just a food

Spirulina takes hold of what the body wants gone and carries it out. That is why it sits at the centre of every serious cleansing routine.

Most spirulina is spray-dried at heat.
Ours is extracted raw.

Spirulina's value sits in compounds that heat destroys, phycocyanin first among them. Spray-drying at temperature is cheap, and it costs you exactly the thing you bought the powder for. Raw extraction is slower — and it is why this powder is still properly blue-green rather than a dull olive.

One organism. Nothing added.

Spirulina and nothing else. No carrier, no flow agent, no green blend padded out with cheaper powders.

01

Arthrospira platensis

3g per teaspoon · single ingredient

A blue-green algae that has been feeding life on this planet for around three and a half billion years. One organism, one ingredient, nothing to read past.

02

Phycocyanin — The Blue

What raw extraction protects

The pigment that makes blue-green algae blue, and the most-studied compound in the whole organism. It does not survive high heat, which is the entire argument for raw.

03

Stirs Into Anything

Water, juice or a smoothie

A teaspoon into water, juice or a green smoothie. Strong and marine — most people run it alongside barley grass and wild blueberry rather than on its own.

Purity Controlled at Every Step

500g · about 166 servings

Spirulina is only ever as clean as the water it grew in, which is why every batch is controlled for purity. Zero additives, zero fillers, strict German quality standards.

Not all spirulina is equal.

Most spirulina is spray-dried at heat and sold inside a blend. Here is how a raw, single-ingredient powder compares, line by line.

A simple daily ritual.

01

One teaspoon

3g stirred into water, juice or a smoothie. Start with half a teaspoon for the first few days — spirulina is strong stuff.

02

Morning, before food

Most people take it first thing alongside barley grass, before anything else has landed.

03

Build it up

Spirulina rewards consistency. Once a teaspoon sits comfortably, many people move to two.

The full green ritual.

Straight off the back of the tub. Spirulina rarely travels alone — Barley Grass brings the alkalising greens and Wild Blueberry brings the antioxidants.

Questions, answered.

It means the algae is dried without being taken up to the temperatures that spray-drying uses. That matters because the compounds spirulina is prized for — phycocyanin above all — are heat-sensitive. Raw is slower and more expensive, and it is the difference between a vivid blue-green powder and a dull olive one.
Because it carries two pigments at once: chlorophyll, which is green, and phycocyanin, which is a deep blue. Phycocyanin is the one that makes spirulina interesting, and the one heat destroys first.
It is not certified organic, and we will not claim it is. Spirulina is grown in controlled water rather than soil, and organic certification for algae is uncommon and often meaningless. What matters here is purity control — every batch is tested, because spirulina is only ever as clean as the water it grew in.
Strong and marine — there is no getting around it. In water it is bracing; in a smoothie with wild blueberry and barley grass it settles into the background completely. Start with half a teaspoon.
That is exactly how it is meant to be taken, and it says so on the tub. The three together are the standard morning glass: barley grass for the alkalising greens, spirulina for the protein and pigments, wild blueberry for the antioxidants.
500g at a teaspoon a day is about 166 servings — roughly five and a half months. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or have a medical condition, check with your doctor first.

Real fuel, really felt.

The densest food on earth, by the teaspoon.

About five months of raw, single-ingredient spirulina, from R 13.24 a day.
