Pure, organic, cold-pressed, South African grown. Hexane-free.
Traditional uses:
- Occasional internal cleanse — 2 tbsp at bedtime for 3 nights, traditionally used to cleanse the gastro-intestinal tract and support bowel regularity
- Skin care — a rich moisturiser for dry skin, traditionally used to soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles
- Hair and scalp care — traditionally used to nourish the scalp and support healthy-looking hair growth
- Castor oil packs — soak a cloth in the oil and place it over the liver or kidney area, cover with plastic followed by a towel, and apply a warm hot-water bottle. Leave for a few hours or overnight. Repeat as required.
Caution: Do not take castor oil internally during pregnancy.
